Please remember that the sum of the parts is greater than the whole.
J. Emerson McGowan continues to work on his craft and is primed for major market commercials, films, print and other projects. Also remember, he HAS DONE and been in major stuff and currently has NO conflicts.

Well, the Writer's Guild strike needs to end soon. Producers!!! how about a little help!
Quite quiet at the moment. There is a project coming to the area soon and hope that whatever I did to apparently "PO'd" a CD will phase away. Or is it my age or color or hair color??

Well, things are getting a bit busier and will keep this updated as possible.
A note about my character. Some of you might think that I am gruff and have an intimidating exterior. Actually, I am a sweetheart of a guy and I cannot help the way I appear. No, I am not "distant". I am very approachable, you just gotta say "HEY" and we go from there. Now to get a role that has a dark, shadowy and intimadating motivation and I would be in pig heaven....
BTW, I am losing weight... now 237, down from 268. I Look Mavelllllllous dahling, simply mav El Los.... really.

AhHaaaaa, you thought I had disappeared eh.... fat chance ya'll. I am getting my new winds. Anyways, it has been awhile and I guess this blogging thing gets pretty old pretty soon... at least for me.... gotta make those disclaimers... sheesh!
On to the latest.... just wrapped SAG Indie Feature "Happy Birthday Harris Malden" shooting in Philly. Played the role of Mr. Ellsworth Saunders - Supporting. Great cast and crew, itching to see the finished product. Soon.
New projects are appearing on the horizon. I have a Talent Management Group coming onboard to give me some assist. The Group will have a page or so on this site so.... will let you know soon.
Whew, busy busy at my pace.... Not a Diva, just a singularly focused individual.

One of J. Emerson's interests and heros has always been Lon Chaney Jr. (man of a thousand faces). Wow! what a title. J Emerson looks to be able to show the many faces that he possesses as an actor. Another of his favorite "characters" has always been "The Creature from the Black Lagoon".
When he was a kid and saw that movie, he said " I wanna swim like that someday" and he is pretty close to doing just that. Although the movie scared the "be - jeepres" out of him, he loved it and wants to revive the role with a new twist.
