The Ensemble Cast - J. Emerson McGowan, Liza Herschel and Susan Filtrante perform a 15 minute play about changing didactics in a newly gentrifying community and the clash of differing opinions. The Director, Tom Erhardt states "I found the cast and the Play symbolic of how far we have come and yet how far we have to go".
South Camden Theater Company is a fledgling company that has grown over the past five years and now produces regularly for the communities in and around Camden, NJ. Their motto is "Art Will Save Us". A motto that resonates with the Rebirth and Rededication to the Peoples of this once magnificent City. The aim is to Save and Resurrect the City of Camden through it's Art.

Well, was asked to do the " I have a Dream" speech again for Union City, NJ and was pleasantly surprised that I was awarded an Artistic Achievment Award from the City of Union City and the City Commissioners. And if that was not enough, I received an Artistic Commendation via the 33rd Legislative District of the State of New Jersey.
It was a day full of surprises for me and these awards were a total surprise. My thanks and appreciation go out to all involved in setting these up. It is nice to see something return when you put so much work into it. Here are images of the awards:
